The solar heating system, installed in a new residential building in Salaspils, operates on the basis of heat produced by solar collectors and is intended for use all year round. The system consists of eight TS400 flat vacuum solar collectors connected to a ground source heat pump, a heat storage tank and a ground circuit buffer tank.
The system is designed to provide the building with the full amount of heat required for heating, as well as hot water for all household needs.
